GENERAL INFORMATION Situation: The Haddocks is situated adjacent to Myton-on-Swale village, approximately nine miles south east of Boroughbridge, six miles north west of Easingwold and 21 miles north west of York. The postcode is YO61 2RB. The sale will commence at 11.30 am with small tools, followed by the machinery, vintage tractors and concluding with the combine and tractors. There will be no premium payable. VAT at the standard rate will be charged on all lots with the exception of the vintage tractors and equipment. These will be available on the day of sale. Loading Facilities: A forklift will be available to assist with loading. Removal of Lots: Electric Supply: Payment Terms: All lots must be removed by the 30th April 2009. All equipment on the farm is single phase. All lots must be paid for on the day of the sale and before removal from the saleground. Payment can be made by cash or cheque subject to the following:Cheque Payments from purchasers who are unknown to the Auctioneers must make one of the following arrangements BEFORE THE DAY OF SALE: a) Provide a letter from your Bank addressed to Stephenson & Son confirming the amount up to which cheques can be accepted. The letter should include your account name and number and an authorized bank signature. This letter should be given to our cashiers at the time of payment. b) Inform your own Bank that you wish to pay by cheque, stating the maximum amount you are likely to spend and ask for them to instruct our bankers that it will be in order to accept your cheque. Our bankers are Barclays, 1-3 Parliament Street, York YO1 8SE Sort Code: 20-99-56, Account No. 00837725. c) Arrange with your Bank Manager for the issue of a guaranteed cheque or bankers draft to be brought with you. Cash payments: In order to comply with the Money Laundering Regulations 2003, we are no longer able to accept cash payments for sums in access of £7,500.
