Stoddard Property Investments is a real estate investment and development partnership focused primarily on the Boise market. Founded and directed by Jeff Stoddard, this partnership has been a consistent acquirer of property since the early 1990's. Our goal is to double the size of our holdings over the next five years while improving the quality and performance of the entire portfolio.

Jeff Stoddard is a fourth generation Idahoan. He was raised in Boise and completed multiple degree programs at the University of Idaho prior to earning an MBA from Harvard Business School. Although he currently lives in Southern California, Jeff travels to Idaho regularly. He has a good current knowledge of the Boise market and has owned or redeveloped over one million square feet of income property there. His father, Leon Stoddard, was involved in Boise real estate development for many years having developed Overland/Cole Industrial Park, Indian Lakes golf course and community, and several other Southwest Boise communities.

Jeff 's primary business activities are in Southern California real estate development. He is a founder and co-owner of Buie Stoddard Group of Companies. Since launching the firm in 1983, they have developed many well-known projects in Southern California and have won scores of design and marketing awards. Buie has acquired, master-planned and developed property for more than 10,000 residential units in San Diego, Orange and Riverside Counties. They have developed or have in planning dozens of commercial income producing projects. These properties include retail, office, apartment and industrial buildings. They have

Stoddard Property Investments buys existing anchored retail properties with the goal of improving physical appearance, tenant quality, and net operating income. This strategy often requires significant investment in deferred maintenance, roofs, parking lots, signage, and facades. In alliance with local brokers and design professionals, properties are evaluated for the optimum level of required improvement and an aggressive business plan is developed. Examples of the results of this strategy include Cole Village Shopping Center and Westgate Shopping Center.

Since each investment is viewed as a long term one, an ongoing improvement plan is crucial to the success of that investment.
