STOUT AUCTIONS

1 American Flyer S gauge 771 operating stockyard and a 736 Missouri Pacific stock car with four brown cows, four black

cows, instruction sheet and a controller. The base of the corral has some scratches, C7 and the rest of the corral is C8. The car has never been run, C9.

2 American Flyer S gauge 25049 Rio Grande walking brakeman car in OB. The car is bright white with strong lettering and

the brake wheel is broken off one end, otherwise car is C8. The OB has one exterior flap detached but present.

3 American Flyer S gauge 592A crossing gate with a 697 track trip in OB. The gate is C7. Also included is a 758A Sam

The Semaphore man, C7-8.

4 American Flyer S gauge Atlantic freight set no. 490T, circa 1949 including; 300 steam 4-4-2 loco, Reading Lines tender,

640 hopper, 639 boxcar and a 638 caboose. The loco and tender have the original wrap and the cars are in OBs. The set is C8. The loco wrap is clean with strong printing.

5 American Flyer S gauge 772 water tower with a metal shack, checkerboard tank, gray base, black tower and instruction

sheet in a damaged OB. The tower is C8.

6 American Flyer S gauge diesel-switcher freight set no. 5012T or 5112T containing; 370 American Flyer GP7 diesel with

link coupler bars, 715 automobile car with a 707 blue Manoil coupe, 633 Baltimore & Ohio boxcar and a 630 Reading caboose. The 715, 633 and 630 are in OBs. The 370 diesel is C7-8. The boxcar has a chip in the catwalk and on one end, otherwise the rolling stock is C7.

7 American Flyer S gauge made by Mini-Craft for A.C. Gilbert 165 grain elevator, circa 1953 in OB. There are a couple of

areas on the side of the structure that are skinned, otherwise, C7. The OB is sealed on the bottom and has all flaps attached, The box has crisp printing.

8 American Flyer S gauge Pacific freight set no. 4904T, circa 1949 in individual OBs and set box containing; 290 American

Flyer 4-6-2 steam loco and tender with original wrap, 640 AF hopper, 639 AF boxcar, 638 AF caboose, No. 2 75-watt transformer, 706 remote control uncoupler and a 690 track terminal. The set is C7-8. Both ends of the 640 boxcar have broken catwalks. Set box has label intact, but has some writing on it.

9 American Flyer S gauge 596 water tank with instruction sheet in OB. The water tank is C7-8. The OB is sealed on the

bottom and has all flaps attached. One corner of the label is missing.

10 American Flyer S gauge The Thunderbolt freight set no. 20615, circa 1960 in set box with original cardboard insert

containing; 21085 Chicago Northwestern Line 4-6-2 Pacific loco and tender, 24065 New York Central boxcar, 24575 National Car Co. flatcar with two Bordens milk tanks that has a brake wheel broken off, 24125 Bethlehem Steel gondola missing the rail load, 24631 AF caboose, 704 manual uncoupler, a 22004 40-watt transformer, twelve sections of curve track and two sections of straight track. The loco, tender and boxcar all have white paint specks. The gondola has a broken step. The set is C7. The set box is worn.

11 American Flyer S gauge 769A revolving aircraft beacon with green base, dark gray metal tower, metal shack and

instruction sheet, C8. Also included is a 774 floodlight tower with red base, gray tower and instruction sheet in OB. The tab is broken off of one of the floodlight holders, C7.

12 American Flyer S gauge New York Central Freight set no. 4611A, circa 1948 in individual OBs and set box containing;

322AC NYC 4-6-4 Hudson loco and tender with original wrap, 716 AF operating side-dump hopper car with instruction sheet and original wrap, 634 C. & N.W.RY. floodlight car, 629 Missouri Pacific stock car, 630 Reading caboose, 712 automatic track section, 706 remote control uncoupler and a 690 track terminal. The set is C7-8, except for the 716 which is C7. The set box is split on one corner and the set number has faded.

13 American Flyer S gauge 583A electromatic crane with original wrap and controller. The crane is C6-7. Also included is a

tray with instruction sheet, packet of coal and other packet, C10.

14 American Flyer S gauge uncatalogued The Royal Blue freight set no. 50T, circa 1950 containing; 350 The Royal Blue

streamlined 4-6-2 Pacific loco and tender, 631 Texas & Pacific gondola, 642 AF boxcar and 638 AF caboose. The cars are in OBs. The set is C7-8. The OB for the boxcar is missing all flaps on one end.

15 American Flyer S gauge 779 oil drum loader with controller, five barrels and instruction sheet in OB. The cart is missing

the steering wheel. The loader is C7.

16 American Flyer S gauge The Trail Blazer freight set no. K5346W, circa 1953 in individual OBs and set box containing;

316 Pennsylvania 4-6-2 Pacific loco and tender with original wrap, 915 AF automatic unloading car with Tootsie Toy racer, original wraps and button, 920 southern gondola, 921 CB&O hopper, 922 GAEX boxcar, 928 C.&N.W.RY. log car, 930 AF caboose, 690 track terminal, 693 track locks, 706 uncoupler, XA-11666 air chime whistle control and all paperwork including inspection tags, instruction sheets and book. The loco has some box rubs and a small area where paint is rubbed off on the top of the cab. The loco and tender are C7-8. The 915 automobile car has some paint flakes, otherwise cars are C8. The OBs have most all flaps attached and are clean. The set box is square, however does have masking tape. This is a clean matched original set.

17 American Flyer S gauge 35 brakeman with lantern in a pop-up display box. Set is complete with all three brakeman, C9.

OB has all flaps attached and has yellow insert. The graphics are strong but the OB has some light soiling.

18 American Flyer S gauge The New Clipper New Haven passenger set no. 20340, circa 1957 all in OBs containing; 497 New

Haven Alco PA diesel, 960 Columbus combine, 961 Jefferson coach and 963 Washington observation. The streamlined cars are silver with orange stripes. The horn on top of the loco is broken off. The set is C7. The OBs are missing most of the end flaps.

19 American Flyer S gauge 752A Seaboard coaler with three button controller and instruction sheet. The structure has one

paint chip, otherwise the accessory is C7-8.

20 American Flyer S gauge The New Yard King freight set no. 5545W, circa 1955 containing; 346 Nickel Plate Road 0-8-0

switcher loco and tender, red 953 AF Niagara Falls combine, 946 Erie depressed-center floodlight car, 944 AF Industrial Brownhoist crane, 945 AF work and boom car, 690 track terminal, 693 track locks, 706 remote control uncoupler and a 710 steam whistle control. The loco and tender are C7-8 and the cars are C8.

21 American Flyer S gauge 460 lamp assortment kit complete with all bulbs and price list in OB. The OB is intact with all

flaps attached and includes insert with all bulb numbers. Graphics on OB are clean and strong.

22 American Flyer S gauge Miners Work Train no. 5300T containing; 740A handcar in worn OB, red tipple car, blue tipple

car, green tipple car and instruction sheet. The 740A handcar has one tab broken off and is missing both lanterns, C6. The tipple cars are C7.

23 American Flyer S gauge 332 Union Pacific 4-8-4 steam loco and lender. The loco and tender are C6-7. 24 American Flyer S gauge 755 Mystic talking station with instruction sheet. The station has a small spot of rust and is

missing the record, C7.

25 American Flyer S gauge The Arrow freight set no. 20605, circa 1960 in set box containing; 21105 Reading Lines 4-4-2

Atlantic loco and tender, 24225 Santa Fe hopper with gravel load, 24066 Louisville & Nashville boxcar, 24627 AF caboose, 22004 40-watt transformer, two sections of straight track, twelve sections of curve track, 704 manual uncoupler, instruction sheet and paperwork. The set has very light run time, C9, except for the boxcar which has some small nicks on the roof and is C8. The OB has an insert and a display panel. The display panel has bright and clean color graphics. The set box lid is discolored.

26 American Flyer S gauge 768 Shell oil supply depot, circa 1950 with two Shell tanks in OB. The depot is C7-8. The OB is

clean and square and the label is fully intact.

4-6-2 Pacific loco and tender with original wrap, 651 baggage, two 655 coaches and a 652 Pikes Peak passenger car. The American Flyer Lines cars are red. The set is C8. The cars are in worn OBs.

28 American Flyer S gauge 740 hand car with instruction sheet and insert in OB. This is the version without the decals. The

hand car is C8. The box is square with all flaps attached.

29 American Flyer S gauge The Meteor freight set no. K5437T, circa 1954 in individual OBs and set box containing; 293

New York, New Haven and Hartford 4-6-2 Pacific loco and tender with original wrap, 947 Northern Pacific refrigerator car, 924 CRP Jersey Central Lines covered hopper, 926 Gulf tank car, 929 Missouri Pacific stock car, 933 Baltimore & Ohio boxcar, 930 AF caboose, no. 4B 100-watt transformer, 690 track terminal, 693 track clips, 706 remote control uncoupler, twelve sections of curve track and four sections of straight track. Also included is an empty box of 23025 smoke cartridges, a funnel and an instruction booklet. The loco has some box rubs, otherwise is C8. The freight cars are C8. The individual OBs have most flaps attached. The set box shows some wear and has label intact. This is a clean, matched original set.

30 American Flyer S gauge 612 freight passenger station with crane, inspection tag and a cardboard insert, C7. 31 American Flyer S gauge 356 chrome Silver Bullet 4-6-2 streamlined loco and tender with original wrap. The chrome on

the loco has a couple of paint flakes and minor nicks, C7 and the tender is C6.

32 American Flyer S gauge Frontiersman passenger set no. 20550, circa 1960 in set box containing; (210)88 F.Y. & P. oldtime 4-4-0 Franklin steam loco and tender, (247)20 coach, (247)30 Overland Express baggage in OB, (247)40 combine, 26690 track terminal, a 22004 40-watt transformer, twelve sections of curve track and instruction sheets and paperwork. The train set is C8. There is an interior flap missing on the 24730 OB. There is tape repair on one corner of the set box. The set box is clean with bright color graphics.

33 American Flyer S gauge 377 Texas & Pacific GP-7 power diesel unit. There is surface rust on the hand rails on one end of

the diesel and one decal is missing, C6.

34 American Flyer S gauge Pennsylvania freight set no. 4607 in individual worn OBs and set box containing; 312

Pennsylvania K-5 4-6-2 Pacific steam loco and tender with original wrap, 632 Lehigh New England hopper, 625 Shell tank, a 630 Reading caboose, 690 track terminal, 705 straight track with uncoupling device, instruction booklet, one section of straight track and twelve sections of curve track in OB. The loco and tender are C8 and the cars are C7-8. The individual OBs are missing flaps, but flaps are included. The set box has picture label intact on one side and all flaps are attached.

35 American Flyer S gauge 21922/21922-1 Missouri Pacific Alco PA/PA diesel locos in OBs. The horn on one of the power

diesels has a broken section. Both decals are intact except for a small piece on one of the decals on the side is missing. The locos are C7. There is brown tape on the ends of both OBs.

36 Desirable American Flyer S gauge 24323 Bakers Chocolate chemical car with gray ends. The top platform has two broken

supports that hold the wire hand rails, otherwise C7-8.

37 American Flyer S gauge 24221 C & EI hopper and a 24213 Wabash hopper. Other than a couple of minor box rubs on the

24221, the car is C8. The 24213 is C8.

38 American Flyer S gauge 24036 New Haven boxcar in OB. The brake wheel is broken and car has a couple of pin head

nicks, otherwise car is C8. There is a tear on the end flap of the box, but all flaps are attached.

39 American Flyer S gauge 24077 Northern Pacific "PIG PALACE" stock car. The silver roof is bright and shiny, however

does have two light rub marks. The boxcar has very light run time and is C9.

40 American Flyer S gauge 24216 Union Pacific three-bay hopper in OB. The hopper is C8. OB has all flaps attached,

however one end flap is torn.

45 American Flyer S gauge (21)812 Texas & Pacific Baldwin switcher. The switcher has light run time, C8-9. 46 American Flyer S gauge Atlantic freight set no. 4801A, circa 1948 containing; 302AC Reading Lines 4-4-2 Atlantic loco

and tender, 628 C.& N.W.RY log car, 633 Baltimore & Ohio boxcar and a 630 Reading caboose. The 633 has a chip on the catwalk and on the end. The boxcar also has a crack on one bottom end. The caboose has a chip in one corner of the roof. The loco and tender are C7-8 and the cars are C6-7. The log car, boxcar and caboose are in worn OBs.

47 American Flyer S gauge 628 C.& N.W.RY. pressed wood flatcar with six wooden logs. The lettering is strong, C8. 48 American Flyer S gauge American Flyer freight set no. K5206W, circa 1952 in individual OBs with original wraps and set

containing; 21551 Northern Pacific Alco PA diesel, 24843 combine, 24846 coach, 24849 vista dome, 24853 observation, twelve sections of curve track, four sections of straight track, 26690 track terminal, 22020 50-watt transformer, 26752 remote-control uncoupler and instruction sheets. The 23561 billboard horn with control box is missing from the set. The nose decal on the loco is intact. The loco and cars are C7. The individual OBs are worn and two passenger car OBs are reproduction boxes. The set box has water stains on bottom and lid and is worn.

on one end and all flaps are attached on the other end.

31004 Pennsylvania B6sb 0-6-0 loco and slope back tender, 33215 Peabody hopper 33537 track cleaning car, 33558 Illinois Central multipurpose car, 33818 Great Northern cattle car, 33820 Tie-Jector work caboose, 32663 HO Pike-Master transformer, track, instruction sheet, rail ties and track trip. The 33820 has a melt mark on the bottom of the frame. The set is C7-8. The OB has one spot of staining on the lid. The color graphics are clean.

55 Gilbert HO scale 35207 floodlight tower in OB, a HO-258 Mystic passenger and freight station and a 35711 flashing

danger signal in OB. The 35711 is C9 and the 35207 is C8. The station's roof is C6 and the station is C7-8.

56 Gilbert HO gauge Northern Pacific passenger cars including; 540 baggage and club car, 541 coach, 542 vista dome and a

543 observation in OBs. Also included is a 31011 Northern Pacific F-3 diesel unit in an incorrect box and a 31032 Northern Pacific F-3 A unit Pike Master powered diesel in OB. The cars and diesels are C8-9.

57 Gilbert HO scale 433 PRR B6sb 0-6-0 switcher and slope back tender, C8. 58 Gilbert HO gauge freight cars; 520 Northwestern refrigerator car, 521 Northern Pacific refrigerator car, 33522 Boston and

Maine boxcar and a 33818 Great Northern cattle car with an OB. The cars are C8.

59 Gilbert HO scale 430 Alco DL-600 diesel loco, C7 and a 420 Lackawanna A diesel unit, C6. 60 Gilbert HO scale freight cars; 503 N.Y.N.H.&H. transformer car, 500 Gulf tank, 501 C.B.&Q. hopper with coal load, 510

Monon cement hopper, 33505 Norfolk and Western gondola and a 33509 Western Maryland flatcar with a RISS trailer. The RISS trailer has one set of wheels that is broken from the frame on one side. The cars are C7-8.

61 American Flyer and Gilbert HO selection of catalogs; D1820-1955, D1866-1956, D1904-1956, D2031-1957, D4106-1958,

D2310-1962, D2231-1960, D2239-1961/62 and D2283-1962. Also included is an envelope D1840, an instruction booklet from 1955 and a D2086 folder from 1958. The catalogs are complete and are in like new condition.

62 American Flyer S gauge The New Silver Rocket Passenger Set no. 5570H, circa 1955 containing; 4745 (474/475) Rocket

Alco PA/PA diesel locos and four green-striped satin silver streamlined AFL passenger cars; 960 Columbus combine, 961 Jefferson coach, 962 Hamilton vista dome and 963 Washington observation. Both diesels have broken horns and there are two steps missing from the diesels. The set is C6.

63 MTH Rail King American Flyer 30-9043 operating coaling tower in OB sealed in outer shipping carton, C10. 64 American Flyer S gauge by Sunset Models brass Union Pacific Challenger 4-6-6-4 loco and tender in OB. This loco is one

of eleven that were actually manufactured. The loco and tender have never been run and are C9-10.

65 American Flyer S gauge 613 Great Northern boxcar, circa 1953 and a 627 C.&N.W.RY flatcar with girder in worn OB.

The 613 is C8 and the 627 is C7.

66 American Flyer S gauge Prototype Ralston Purina boxcar from the TCA 1992 Convention. This boxcar is one of a kind.

One truck is detached but included. Car has never been run, C8.

67 American Flyer S gauge 941 Frisco gondola in a dark brown painted hard to find variation in OB, C8. The OB has some

flaps detached, but are included

68 American Flyer S gauge 25059 rocket launcher with track trip, controller and instruction sheet in OB. This is the harder to

find version that has a black painted flatcar. The car has never been run, C9-10. The OB has all flaps attached.

69 American Flyer S gauge 466 AFL Comet PA diesel, C7. Loco has a spot of paint flaking on the nose. 70 American Flyer original 1958 catalog art from the Advertising Department of The A.C. Gilbert Company. Artwork is in

original folder and is signed off and dated.

71 Colber 109 oil gusher with instruction sheet that has an unusual red platform in OB. The gusher is C8. The OB is missing 72 American Flyer six shipping boxes for the LTI freight cars. The first of each car produces was addressed and shopped to

Richard Kughn at Carail or Lionel for his personal collection. OB have all flaps attached with some tape.

73 American Flyer S gauge 332 DC Union Pacific Challenger 4-8-4 Northern steam loco and tender with American Flyer

lettered on the sides, circa 1949. The tender has a knuckle coupler conversion. One of the number boards by boiler front is broken, C6.

74 American Flyer S gauge 21206/21206-1 Santa Fe twin EMD F9 diesels, circa 1961. There is a melt mark on the 21206.

The 21206-1 unit has no front decal. The diesels are C7.

75 American Flyer S gauge 21801/21801-1 Chicago & North Western Baldwin diesel locos. The power unit is broken on one

end, C4. The dummy unit is C6.

76 American Flyer S gauge 23830 Piggy Back unloader and car with instruction sheet in OB with display panel. The two

metal platforms have some surface rust, otherwise accessory is C7. The OB is missing the original cardboard insert.

77 American Flyer S gauge The Silver Rocket passenger set no. K5364W containing; 474/475 Rocket Alco PA/PA, three

chrome-plastic streamlined AF 962 Hamilton vista domes and one 963 Washington observation. The locos are C6-7. The cars are C5.

78 American Flyer S gauge 476 Rocket PB unit which is a reproduction made by Ken Hein from Chicago. The frame is loose

from the shell, C7.

79 American Flyer S gauge 960 Columbus combine and 961 Jefferson coach. The cars are plastic streamlined with green

stripes. The 961 has a step broken off. Cars are C5.

80 American Flyer S gauge 342DC Nickel Plate Road 0-8-0 switcher and tender, C7. 81 American Flyer S gauge No. 50 District School, circa 1953-54. The bell on the school has rust on it, otherwise the school

is C7.

82 American Flyer S gauge 466 chrome AFL Comet Alco PA unit. This unit is unusual due to the fact that it was painted over

a Santa Fe shell. One rear step is missing. The Alco unit is C6.

83 American Flyer S gauge The Pioneer 600 freight set no. 20811, circa 1965-66 containing; 21166 Burlington Route 4-4-0

American loco and tender, 24422 Great Northern Refrigerator car, 24125 Bethlehem Steel gondola and a 24636 AF caboose. The set is missing the scenic curved track panels and accessories. The tender has surface rust on bottom of frame, otherwise loco and tender are C7. The 24222 and 24125 are C6 and the 24636 is C7.

84 American Flyer S gauge Missouri Pacific Eagle passenger set no. 20475, circa 1958 containing; 21920/21920-1 Alco

PA/PA diesels, blue and silver streamlined Missouri Pacific 24856 Eagle Hill combine, 24589 Eagle Lake coach, 24863 Eagle Creek vista dome and 24866 Eagle Valley observation. The set is C5.

85 American Flyer S gauge uncatalogued Department Store Special freight set no. 20185, circa 1960 containing; 21158 0-6

-0T docksider switcher loco, 24030 MKT boxcar, 24120 Texas & Pacific gondola and 24636 AF caboose. The set is C7-8.

86 American Flyer S gauge Union Pacific passenger cars including; 24837 Star Dust combination car, 24838 Dream Cloud

coach, 24839 Columbia River vista dome and a 24840 Moon Glow observation. The cars are C6.

87 American Flyer S gauge 23791 cow on the track with controller in OB. The platform has a hole in the middle. Also

included is a 23602 crossing gate. Both accessories are C7.

The power loco has one broken step, 89 American Flyer S gauge 313 Pennsylvania 4-6-2 loco with tender, C7. 90 American Flyer S gauge The El Capitan passenger set no. 5640TBH, circa 1956 containing; 472 Santa Fe Alco Pa diesel,

satin silver red-striped streamlined AFL 961 Jefferson coach, 962 Hamilton vista dome and 963 Washington observation. The set is C4-5.

91 A.C. Gilbert Erector Musical Ferris Wheel Set no. 10073 that is nearly complete with catalog and a hard to find record in

metal case. The outside of the metal case has some light oxidation and the inside of the lid has bright color graphics.

92 A.C. Gilbert hard to find 1954 Erector catalog no. D1740A. The catalog is complete but has a crease down the center. 93 A.C. Gilbert original Erector motor, circa 1918 and a "Gilbert Fun With Your Motor" instruction booklet from 1932. The

motor has some rust and the booklet has a tear on the front cover.

The box is very large and should have never survived based on the printed label on the side that reads: "To Remove Model, Cut Top Off Carton and Slit Four Edges to Open Sides. Do Not Attempt Removal of Model Any Other Way". For some reason this was not done and the box survived. The OB has an A.C. Gilbert shipping label and printing that reads: "FROM THE A.C. GILBERT CO. NEW HAVEN 6, CONN 1 PC 17070 ERECTOR REVOLVING TOWER". The OB is C9. This lot is one of the highlights of the auction.

inserts and outer original sleeve. The sewing machine is in like new condition. The needle and accessories are missing. The interior box has bright color graphics with some water staining. The outer sleeve is damaged and also has some staining.

Also included are American Flyer S gauge by Lionel 9200 B&O Chessie System hopper with coal load and a 9100 white Gulf tank.

676 American Flyer S gauge 302 and 302AC Reading 4-4-2 Atlantic diesel locos and tenders with freight cars; 915 AFL

flatcar, 928 C.&N.W.RY. flatcar with five wooden logs and a 934 C.&N.W.RY. floodlight in OB. The 302 loco has been converted with a knuckle coupler. The locos and cars are C6 except for the 915 which is C5.

677 American Flyer S gauge by Mini-craft 270 News and Frank Stand and a small reproduction newsstand. The 270 is missing

some signs and shutters, C6.

678 American Flyer S gauge AFL streamlined passenger cars with chestnut stripes; two 960 Columbus combines, 962

Hamilton vista dome and two 963 Washington observation cars. There are a total of four steps missing. The passenger cars are C4. Also included is a 962 chrome AFL 962 Hamilton vista dome without stripes, C5.

679 American Flyer S gauge 290 AF 4-6-2 Pacific loco and tender and a 322 New York Central 4-6-4 Hudson loco and tender.

The 322 is missing one set of wheels on the trailing truck. The locos are C5.

680 American Flyer S gauge 364 Santa Fe PB diesel unit and a 467 repainted Comet PB diesel unit. One end of the 364 is
