Dear NetJets Supplier, Building on the improvements and investments made in recent years, NetJets is taking the next major step forward in globalizing and strengthening its Procurement function to best support the company's strategic business needs. Our goal is to take our focus, efficiency and effectiveness to the next level while continuing to foster strong relationships with suppliers who share our philosophy of continuous improvement in quality, service, delivery, technology and cost to better serve our customers. As part of this process, some of the personnel you work with will change and we are redefining our titling conventions. We are prepared to make this transition in a relatively short period of time and, as with all changes, we will endeavor to make it as seamless as possible for everyone involved: 1. A Category Leader or a Senior Category Leader is your primary point of contact for all day-to-day procurement activities, depending on the portfolio of products or services you supply to NetJets. A complete list of our Category Leaders and Senior Category Leaders, globally, is attached for your reference. For some of our larger categories, such as maintenance, fuel and airport services, a further break-down is being developed to assign each individual to a supplier or group of suppliers. 2. All Category Leaders and Senior Category Leaders report to a Global Purchasing Manager, who is their first point of escalation for all day-to-day activities. 3. In addition, we have now a small group of Global Category Managers, whose responsibility is to determine the longterm, strategic plans for their respective categories, on a global basis, working in close collaboration with our respective business units, their Global Procurement colleagues, and our suppliers as appropriate. I ask that you please keep this restructuring effort on our part confidential, for competitive reasons, and not share it with anyone outside of your company. I would, however, welcome your feedback so please let me or one of my team members know if you have thoughts on how NetJets can work better with your organization, or if you have any specific questions regarding our Global Procurement organization.
