This position will assist in the development of the veterinary radiation oncology program, manage radiation oncology patient referrals and consultations, and provide primary patient care of animals undergoing radiation. Candidates must have a DVM degree (or equivalent) and must be eligible for licensure within the province of Saskatchewan. Advanced training in radiation oncology or medical oncology is desirable. The remote area veterinary services, Team North, is a voluntary group of veterinarians, technologists and students that travel to remote areas of northern Saskatchewan to examine, vaccinate, de-worm and spay or neuter pets at no cost to the owner. Dogs running at large and in groups create a serious health and safety issue in these remote areas with no access to veterinary services. There is currently no funding in place to support this program and the group relies on donations. The following WISH LIST has been developed; any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
