Los Angeles, California (For Immediate Release) ­ Takami Sushi & Robata Restaurant one of the hippest restaurants situated in the center of Downtown Los Angeles' bustling financial district, recently appointed Stan Ota Executive Chef. Ota brings with him 24 years of experience from some of Los Angeles' finest restaurants. Since coming to the Unites States from Japan, Ota's culinary resume has included stops at restaurants including Chaya, Sushi Roku and Blue Fin in Orange County. Ota started in Japan as a dishwasher / kitchen helper before training at some of the best culinary schools in the area. From a young age, Ota always new it was his dream to be an Executive Chef at a restaurant like Takami. His favorite dish on the Takami menu is the Chilean Sea Bass, a dish he conceptualized and has perfected since the restaurant's opening. Chefs Ota has reated a delectable menu of sushi and robata selections, using only the freshest seafood and the finest ingredients to conceive an array of innovative dishes including appetizer favorites like "Takami Edamame," soybeans sautéed in garlic butter and soy sauce and "Arare Calamari," fried calamari filets covered in Japanese arare rice crackers and served with a curry aioli dipping sauce. Entrée favorites include mouth watering robata creations served with a quartet of dipping sauces including truffle, mustard miso, champagne yuzu and avocado wasabi and sushi favorites like the "Takami Roll," a unique combination of spicy tuna, snow crab and asparagus, topped with albacore and an apple ponzu sauce and the ever popular "Lemon Albacore Roll," a tangy combination of spicy tuna roll with cucumber, wrapped with albacore and lemon slices. Located on the corner of Flower Street and Wilshire Boulevard in the midst of the financial district, the 14,200 square foot multi-dimensional destination encompasses the entire 21st story penthouse suite of the 811 Wilshire Boulevard office building.
