Castrol/Allison TransyndTM is a premium, synthetic, power shift and automatic transmission fluid, engineered to remain stable under the most severe conditions. Castrol/Allison TransyndTM is dyed red.

Product Applications

The unique formulation of Castrol/Allison TransyndTM can be used in a variety of automatic transmission and power steering applications. 1. Inter/intra city and school buses and coaches. 2. Commercial vehicles and trucks. 3. On and Off highway vehicles. 4. Garbage trucks. 5. Emergency vehicles. In addition, Castrol/Allison TransyndTM meets or exceeds the performance requirements set forth by OEMS and is listed or approved under the following specifications. DEXRON® - III (G-34010) (Supersedes DEXRON®, DEXRON® II and DEXRON® IIE). Allison TES-295 Allison C4-27403598 ZF TE-ML14 (extended drain, 120,000km) Castrol/Allison TransyndTM extends oil change guidelines for Allison transmissions to 160,000km/100,000 miles/48 months for general duty and 80,000km/50,000 miles/24 months for severe duty. That compares to recommended changes for conventional transmission fluids of 19,000km/ 12,000 miles/6 months for severe duty and 48,000km/ 25,000 miles/12 months for general duty. Castrol/Allison Transynd is considered non-hazardous according to Worksafe. However, in line with safe handling practices, it is recommended that the handling instructions outlined in the Castrol Material Safety Data Sheet be followed. Spillage Small:

Soak up using an inert mineral adsorbent such as Castrol MOP Organic and dispose of in the appropriate manner. Corrective action usually dictated by individual company safety procedures. Immediate containment and subsequent removal is essential. Oily materials must not be allowed to enter groundwater, watercourses, sewerage or drainage systems. Refer to local Waste Disposal Authority for legal requirements.
