Timing of Development:

Public schools are part of the Tomball Independent School District. Initially, children living in Creekside Park will attend Tomball Elementary School, Tomball Intermediate, Tomball Junior High and Tomball High School. All are approximately 8 miles from the Gosling Road entrance to Creekside Park. Tomball ISD has committed to three school sites in the new Village of Creekside Park. One school will be located in the first phase of development near Gosling Road, and the other schools will be located near Kuykendahl Road. The first school will be an elementary campus serving students in grades K-6. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2008 with opening planned for August 2009. For information about the Tomball ISD, visit The Woodlands Homefinder Center. Sites have also been identified for pre-schools and child care centers. Acclaimed private schools including The Woodlands Preparatory School and Cunae International School are located nearby. The John Cooper School, The Woodlands Christian Academy and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School are located in neighboring villages in The Woodlands. Lone Star College-Montgomery and Lone Star College-University Center in the Village of College Park provide higher learning opportunities, job training and continuing education. Lone Star College is planning to open a satellite campus near Kuykendahl Road in Creekside Park.

Community Services:

The Village of Creekside Park is located within the jurisdiction of The Woodlands Association (TWA). Police protection is provided by the Harris County Sheriff 's Department and Harris County Constable, Precinct 4. The TWA supplements the routine patrols from Harris County with contract deputies as it does elsewhere in The Woodlands. Creekside Park is served by The Woodlands Fire Department (WFD) for fire protection and emergency medical services. In the short term, fire protection will be supplemented by Harris County Emergency Service District, which has a station south of Creekside Park on Kuykendahl Road. A station for WFD is planned to be constructed in Creekside Park on Kuykendahl in 2008 and be operational in mid-2009.

Places of Worship:

The master plan includes six sites for places of worship throughout the village.


A village center, planned to include a grocery store, drug store, banks, restaurants, gift shops, DVD rentals, dry cleaning, professional offices, service stations and other neighborhood conveniences similar to the other village centers in The Woodlands, is expected to open in late 2009.

Active-Adult Community:

The Woodlands Development Company is planning to develop a new active adult community for residents 55 and over. The site for the active adult community is located just west of Kuykendahl Road.

George Mitchell Nature Preserve

The 1,700-acre George Mitchell Nature Preserve will feature seven miles of frontage along Spring Creek.

Named for George Mitchell, founder of The Woodlands, the George Mitchell Nature Preserve features soft surface trails for hiking, birding and mountain biking in the first phase of development. Two trailheads - one near Rob Fleming Park in Creekside Park and one in the Village of Indian Springs - are now open. Areas for camping and kayaking are planned for future development, making the Preserve the ideal refuge for those who love the great outdoors. A network of hike and bike trails will connect neighborhoods with parks, schools and shopping throughout the village.

Rob Fleming Park

Named for Texas Parks and Wildlife naturalist and artist Rob Fleming, Rob Fleming Park features playgrounds and picnic areas surrounded by wildflowers and tree-lined promenades, a naturally landscaped one-acre lake and a Lodge designed in the Craftsman style.

Rob Fleming Aquatic Center

A Brand New Adventure in Creekside Park.

With its state-of-the-art fun features, the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center is the newest addition to the outdoor adventures in the Village of Creekside Park. Go tubing down the two-story flume slide and then float leisurely down the "lazy river". The free-form resort style pool with beach entry and water playground is a real crowd pleaser, and there's a three-lane lap pool for serious swimmers. The spacious 13-acre site at the edge of 72-acre Lake Paloma provides the cooling effects of water on all sides. This spectacular water park is open to all residents of The Woodlands for a seasonal fee.

Carlton Woods Creekside is the 500-acre expansion of the gated community of Carlton Woods, planned to include 308 custom and estate residences surrounding the Tom Fazio Championship golf course. Property owners are members of The Club at Carlton Woods, featuring the Nicklaus course in Carlton Woods and the Fazio course in Carlton Woods Creekside. Carlton Woods is one of only two private clubs in the country to offer the Nicklaus/Fazio combination. The 53,000-square-foot Italianate-style main clubhouse is located near the Nicklaus course in Carlton Woods. A second clubhouse is located near the Fazio Course. The Tuscan-inspired design includes a 13,500-square-foot clubhouse and 6,000-square-foot cart barn arranged around a Village Square on a hillcrest overlooking the golf course. The clubhouse interior is richly appointed and features a Grille and bar with a vast stone fireplace overlooking the 18th hole, a pro shop, and men's and women's locker rooms. The cart barn has been designed as a multi-function pavilion for club events, with large sliding doors that open to the Village Square and golf course. Homesites in Carlton Woods Creekside range from ¼-acre to over two acres and are priced from the $220's ­ $2 million plus. New homes are priced from the $800's to more than $3 million.
