They are required to provide a certification to obtain a General Contractor License and must obtain [8] Hours of Continuing Education Units each year if the QP is to qualify for a Residential, Commercial I or Commercial II Contractor license. These CEU's can be earned by connecting to www.certainteed.com or attend training that offers ceu's in your field. Copies of the ceu's must be provided at the time of renewal. Yearly renewal notice and payment must be received before the 14th of December each year or double fee will apply. The Qualifying Party must coordinate their renewal with the General Contractor, as one can't be renewed without the other. G-4 9-22-08
