Bio: Betsi Kassebaum is the Executive Director of The Toppel Family Foundation in Boca Raton, Florida. After teaching for 7 years in Broward County she moved into the private sector as the manager for the Sun-Sentinel's Educational Services Department. After 5 years, producing the company's first self-directed work team, and winning a president's award, she moved into the world of philanthropy by joining the South Florida Annenberg Challenge. The common thread with which Betsi sews together the quilt of her life is collaboration. Betsi holds two Master's Degrees in Education and is currently finishing her Doctoral work at FAU.
