Residential Suspect Vehicle

November 30th ­ Surveillance video captured this residential burglary suspect vehicle near 3000 West 68th Place. There were two suspects, a white male and another subject, unknown description. The vehicle appears to be a newer white SUV, possibly Chevrolet or GMC.

Crime Tip

When selling items online, through Craigslist or similar sites, beware of someone wanting to pay by money order or cashier's check. These checks are often counterfeit. You will be the loser if the check does not clear. Make sure you have your money before parting with the item for sale.

Response to our Toy Drive has been overwhelming. I want to give a special shout out to Sunny Leigh from KVOO for kicking off the drive with a live remote on Dec. 9. Zack Stoycoff with the Tulsa World ran a story on Monday that boosted toy donations the last few days.

Introducing Officer Manz Catch of the Day...

December 11th ­ A cab driver reported that pictured subject Tyler McCosar robbed him by force. The victim said he pulled over at 3100 East 61st Street and insisted that McCosar pay his cab fare. He said McCosar responded by punching him and demanding money from him. McCosar and another passenger left on foot. Officer Tami Manz is a seven year TPD veteran, currently serving in the Riverside Division Traffic Unit. She is a Field Training Officer. Tami is certified as an Advanced Traffic Investigator and Mental Health Resource Officer.

A: Since Christmas Eve and Christmas Day fall on a weekend, the Riverside Division will be closed on Friday, December 23rd for Christmas Eve and Monday, December 26th for Christmas.

Officers located McCosar nearby and arrested him for Attempted Robbery by Force or Fear and Obstructing Officers.

Most residential burglaries occur during the daytime when most residents are not home. We highlighted those burglaries known to have occurred at night. Burglary suspect vehicle to watch for: White Chev Tahoe, OK tag 184-GCS ­ driven by black male 25-30 years.
