Please note: Twin Rivers Unified School District will pay the provider for the cost of tutoring up to the amount determined by the State of California, when that amount has been paid, tutoring will be discontinued unless families take over payment for services. The hourly rate quoted by providers is divided into the amount that the state has allocated and determines the number of hours of services that will be provided. For example, a provider charging $100.00 per hour can provide 12 hours of tutoring if the allocated amount is $1200/student. All services are provided in Sacramento, California. #1 A+ provides one on one to small group tutoring twice a week for up to 2.5 K-12 hours a session, Sunday through Saturday for students working below grade math levels in math and English Language Arts and for students with mild special language arts needs (SE) and ESL learners. 100% LFC offers an exciting tutorial program designed to motivate students who are in need of academic assistance in making an easy transition to the next level. The program is run by both English speaking and bilingual staff members working with well trained tutors who possess a college graduate and credentialed teacher level of education. 1 on 1 Learning provides one on one to small group tutoring twice a week for up to 2.5 hours each session, Sunday through Saturday for students working below grade levels in math and English language arts and for students with mild special needs (SE) and ESL learners. A+ provides tutoring in all subject areas and to all students, including ESL and special education. Tutoring can include preparation for STAR, High School Exit Exam and the SAT. As part of the program A+ teaches study skills, note and test-taking strategies, and organizational skills needed to improve grades. The course consist of instruction and assessment to improve reading skills with particular emphasis on reading fluency and comprehension. Tutoring is done in small groups by credentialed teachers assisted by qualified instructional aides. Feedback on progress is provided to parents. Academic Advantage tutoring takes place in-home, or in a local library 7 days a week, at convenience of the student's/parent's schedule. Tutors are professionally trained and include credentialed teachers and graduate students, many of whom are bilingual.

The program offers English standards based lessons that help students improve their reading language arts comprehension, academic vocabulary, grammar and writing skills and study habits becoming more successful in school. Alternatives Unlimited provides face to face tutoring in reading and/or math . K-12 Individual learning plans are written for each student to match their skill to their language arts needs.
