Company presentation

Varstroj is a medium sized manufacturing company with headquarters in town Lendava, located near the Hungarian, Croatian and Austrian border. Our production consists of large range of products like welding machines, CNC machines for plasma and flame cutting and microprocessor controled machines for automatic and robotic welding. We export our products to European and many other markets in the world. In past few years we have succeded to achieve many certificates regarding the EU safety regulations and electromagnetic compatibility. In accordance with our products with EU legislation we achieved certificate ISO 9001 in year 1999 and certificate ISO 9001:2000 in year 2002. Wide offer of quality products, fourty years of tradition, advantageous geographic position, suitable production and efficient personel management are quarantee for successfull business relations.

Characteristics of some welding and cutting methods

Torch height regulation systems

System PPL 150 The PPL150 system enables a pneumatic LIFT/DROP of the plasma torch with the sheet metal holder. The sheet metal holder ensures a constant clearance of the torch from the sheet metal during cutting and is set manually. The PPL150 system is designed for guiding a plasma torch in cutting sheet metal (up to 3mm).

System MSX 750 MAN The MSX 750 MAN system enables manual guiding of the flame torch. The control commands MANUAL UP/ MANUAL DOWN take the torch into the desired position. The compact and precise electric motor drive has a work span up to 220 mm. The control circuit of the sensor protects the sensor from overload and vertical collision of the drive unit with the start signal.

System MSX 750 CAP The MSX 750 CAP is a simple system for fast height regulation and exact balancing of the clearance of the torch in autogenous cutting with contactless sensors. It comprises a vertical drive with integrated capacity sensor electronics with motor drive and control unit.

System MSX 750 ARC The MSX 750 ARC is a simple system for fast height regulation and exact balancing of the clearance of the torch in plasma or autogenous cutting with contactless sensors. It comprises a vertical drive with integrated sensor electronics with motor drive and a special control unit. You can choose between 2 work modes: · ARC SENZE MODE : regulating the height for plasma cutting with arc voltage · SENZE MODE: regulating height via sensor in flame cutting Characteristics of the ARC SENSE MODE: · Automatic detection of basic height for igniting the plasma arc · Setting the height for flame ignition · Automatic connection to height regulation with plasma arc voltage · Adjustable time delay after cutting start, stabilizing the arc · Adjusting automatic recognition of the gap and edge of the sheet metal · Adjustable torch lift to the selected position after cutting pause · Regulation accuracy is better than +/- 1V Technical characteristics: · Compact and precise motor drive with a production run up to 220 mm · Maximum drive speed 80mm/s · Load capacity 12kg · Anti-dust drive protection · 3D collision protection (protecting the torch against collision) System IHT 3000 IHT 3000 is a new generation system for extremely precise cutting due to its responsiveness and accuracy of height guiding. It is designed to perform height guidance in plasma or flame cutting with contactless or contact sensors. In plasma or flame cutting the guiding mode is selected via the control unit. IHT 3000 has all the characteristics of the 750 ARC system (ARC SENSE MODE in SENSOR MODE) and an additional third mode for plasma cutting in contact mode. In this cutting method, the height guidance of the torch is also executed via arc voltage. The starting point of the cutting is determined by the nozzle touching the plasma torch. After lifting the torch to the appropriate height for igniting the plasma arc, the guiding process is more or less similar to the ARC system. This method allows a more precise starting position of the plasma torch, which later results in a higher cutting quality. The IHT 3000 system allows entering the distance of the plasma torch from the sheet metal in millimetres (mm) or volts (V ­ arc voltage). Other technical data is identical to the ARC system.

Gas plasma cutting devices

The new-generation universal plasma devices enable high productiveness and optimum-quality (also fine) cutting of various metals. They were developed for cutting construction steel with oxygen and for cutting high-alloy steel and aluminium with cutting gases argon Ar/ hydrogen H2/nitrogen N2 and their mixtures. In using compressed air, they may also be deployed for classic construction steel cutting by means of air. New-generation inverter power sources allow a broad span of electric current regulation for cutting, which makes the devices suitable for plasma marking as well.

Extraction ­ filter units in thermal cutting

These are very flexible versions that can be deployed in extraction systems in thermal (flame-plasma) metal cutting. The devices are equipped with a system for automatic filter emptying. The system operates with purified (oil free) and dry compressed air (pressure 5-6 bar). It is controlled by a microprocessor unit. The appropriate choice of a cutting filter device with a processor system is crucial.

Rotating-tilting positioner ­ NV ROBO

The positioner is controlled by means of a robot programming console. It is possible to synchronize the operation of the welding robot with the positioner (option). The compact positioner enables economic space utilization (axial bearing). All drive components are inside of the positioner and are adequately protected.
