Summary - Conform dangerous from production of potential biological weapon we can fined in idea that science research was directed on examinations of characteristics and diagnostic method of pathogen microorganisms, potential biological agents, which are use in mass destruction of different kinds of life. Conforming this kind of research programs and signification actors in it from different science areas from all development countries, Henderson was present in his introduction speech on First National Symposium of medical and health protection from bioterrorism, on February 1999 (Virginia). Key words: bioterrorisam, pathogenic agents, veterinary microbiology Kratak sadrzaj - Potvrdu opasnosti od proizvodnje potencijalnog bioloskog oruzja mozemo nai i u ideji da se naucna istrazivanja usmeravaju na ispitivanje karakteristika i dijagnostickih metoda patogenih mikroorganizama potencijalnih bioloskih agenasa, koji e se koristiti u masovnom unistavanju razlicitih oblika zivota. Potvrdu ovakvih istrazivackih programa i znacaj ucesnika iz razlicitih oblasti iz svih razvijenih zemalja, Henderson je februara meseca 1999. godine iznio u svom uvodnom govoru na Prvom nacionalnom simpozijumu o medicinskoj i zdravstvenoj zastiti od bioterorizma (Virdzinija). ANALIZA RIZIKA: TEORIJA, ISKUSTVA I MOGUNOSTI RISK ANALYSIS: THEORY, EXPERIENCES AND OPPORTUNITIES

Summary - World Trade Organization (WTO) with its Sanitary and PhytoSanitary Agreement (SPS) has promoted development and implementation of tools for enhancement of trade with livestock and agricultural products in general, simultaneously preventing negative consequences such are spread of the pests and infectious diseases agents. However, after implementation of the SPS agreement, promoted mechanisms and tools have not full fill the expected objectives. On the one hand, undeveloped and developing countries have not been able to meet elaborated standards required by the relevant international organizations and importing trade partners. On the other hand, even though protective mechanisms were established, infectious disease spread has not been decreased significantly. Infectious diseases agents form regions and countries not free form specific disease have shown potential of spread using other means besides trade, were in other examples developed countries have been source of diseases spread (e.g. Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE)). Aim of this paper is to give an overview of the concepts established in the SPS agreement, with emphasis on the status and possibilities of the Risk Analysis, promoted by this agreement as scientifically based approach for regulation of the risk posed by the international trade with agricultural products. Key words: Sanitary and PhytoSanitary Agreement, Risk Analysis, trade barriers Kratak sadrzaj - Svjetska trgovinska organizacija (World Trade Organisation-WTO) i njen Sporazum o sanitarnim i fitosanitarnim (Sanitary and PhytoSanitary Agreement-SPS) mjerama promovisali su razvoj i primjenu mehanizama za unaprijeenje trgovine zivotinjama i poljoprivrednim proizvodima uz istovremeno sprijecavanje negativnih posljedica kao sto su sirenje stetocina i uzrocnika bolesti ljudi, zivotinja i biljaka. Meutim, u periodu nakon stupanja na snagu SPS sporazuma, mehanizmi i alati koji su njime promovisani nisu u potpunosti ispunili ocekivane ciljeve. S jedne strane, nerazvijene zemlje i zemlje u razvoju nisu u mogunosti da zadovolje i ispune standarde koje postavljaju meunarodne organizacije ili drzave uvoznice. S druge strane, i pored obezbjeenih regulatornih mehanizama, sirenje opasnih zaraznih bolesti nije zaustavljeno. Uzrocnici zaraznih bolesti zivotinja i ljudi, iz regiona i zemalja koje nisu slobodne od bolesti su pokazali potencijal sirenja i drugim nacinima osim trgovine, a u odreenim slucajevima, cemu je primjer Bovina Spongioformna Encefalopatija (BSE), razvijene zemlje su bile izvor sirenja bolesti. Cilj ovog rada je dati pregled koncepcija koje su utemeljene u SPS sporazumu sa posebnim osvrtom na status i mogunosti analize rizika, koju ovaj sporazum promovise kao naucno utemeljen postupak i alat u regulisanju meunarode trgovine poljoprivrednim proizvodima. EFFECT OF PROBIOTIC (TRI-MIC) FEED SUPPLEMENTATION ON SOME GROWTH PERFORMANCE AND BIOCHEMICAL PARAMETERS OF BLOOD OF RABBIT EFFEKAT DODAVANJA PROBIOTIKA TRI-MIC U OBROK NA PRIRAST I NEKE BIOHEMIJSKE PARAMETRE KRVI KUNIA

Summary - This study was conducted to investigate the effect of Probiotic (Tri-Mic) on the growth performance, feed intake and fecal output, carcass dressing and blood biochemical parameters of rabbits. Ninety-eight growing rabbits of 6-weeks of age and average weight at 761 g were used in the study. They were distributed in seven groups of 14 rabbit and seven treatments were used- control and six groups treated with increased concentrations of Probiotic (Tri-Mic) in drinking water. These concentrations were 0.25 g, 0.5 g, 0.75 g, 1.0 g, 1.25 g and 1.5 g/10 liter of water. The results showed that the body weight was improved significantly in group which was exposed to a probiotic concentration of 0.75 g/10 liter of drinking water. Other parameters, including blood biochemical parameter and carcass dressing, were not affected by any of the concentration of probiotic used in this study. Key words: probiotic (Tri-Mic), rabbits, Lactobacillus acidophillus Kratak sadrzaj ­ Istrazivanje je provedeno s ciljem utvrivanja efekata probiotika Tri-Mic na prirast, konzumaciju hrane, izlucivanje fecesa, te randman i biohemijske parametre krvi kunia. Koristeno je 98 kunia u porastu u dobi od 6 nedjelja prosjecne mase 761 grama. Podijeljeni su bili u sedam grupa po 14 zivotinja ­ jedna kontrolna i sest pokusnih grupa uz tretman sa poveanim koncentracijama ispitivanog probiotika u vodi za pie: 0.25 g, 0.5 g, 0.75 g, 1.0 g, 1.25 g i 1.5 g/10 litara vode. Rezultati su pokazali da je prirast mase bio signifikantno povean u grupi koja je dobivala probiotik u koncentraciji od 0.75 g/10 litara vode. INVESTIGATION OF PARASITE CONTAMINATION ON COINS ISPITIVANJE KONTAMINIRANOSTI KOVANICA SITNOG NOVCA RAZVOJNIM OBLICIMA PARAZITA

Summary - The objective of this study was to determine the contamination of coins collected from public toilets, fishermen, bazaar trades and in some other public places with helminthes eggs and protozoa cysts in Kirikkale. The coins were regularly collected in nylon bags and investigated using ZnSO4 solution by centrifuge flotation method. A total of 1036 coins were investigated in the study. Diameters of collected coins were 1.7 cm (n=79), 2 cm (n=571), 2.3 cm (n=94), 2.5 cm (n=176) and 2.8 cm (n=116). The number of coins investigated was 486, 111, 192 and 247 collected from toilets, fishermen, bazaar trades and some other public places, respectively. In this study, infection was observed only in the two coins. The coins with 2.5 cm and 2 cm diameter had an A. lumbricoides and Taenia sp. eggs, respectively. A. lumbricoides egg was observed in coins collected from bazaar trades, Taenia sp. was observed in coins collected from public transporters. The coins infected with parasite eggs may create infection risks for human. Therefore, after handing coins and using toilet, hands should be washed with soap to avoid any cross-contamination. Keywords: helminthes egg, protozoa cysts, coins Kratak sadrzaj ­ Cilj ovog istrazivanja bio je utvrivanje kontaminiranosti kovanica sitnog novca jajima parazita i cistama protozoa prikupljenog u javnim toaletima, ribarnicama, prodavnicama i nekim drugim javnim mjestima u gradu Kirikkale (Turska). Kovanice su skupljane u najlon vreice i ispitivane metodom flotacije i centrifugiranja uz koristenje rastvora ZnSO4. Ukupno je ispitano 1036 kovanica ciji je diametar bio 1.7 cm (n=79), 2 cm (n=571), 2.3 cm (n=94), 2.5 cm (n=176) i 2.8 cm (n=116). Iz toaleta je prikupljeno 486 kovanica, iz ribarnica 111, iz prodavnica 192 i iz drugih javnih mjesta 247. Infestacija je zabiljezena samo na dvije kovanice, i to sa dijametrom 2.5 i 2 cm gdje je utvreno prisustvo jaja A. lumbricoides i Taenia sp. Jaje A. lumbricoides naeno je na kovanici iz prodavnice, dok su jaja Taenia sp. uvrena na kovanici iz javnog prevoznog sredstva. Kovanice kontaminirane jajima parazita mogu predstavljati rizik za infestaciju ljudi. Zato bi nakon koristenja kovanica trebalo oprati ruke sapunom radi izbjegavanja unakrsne kontaminacije. RENAL PATHOHISTOLOGICAL FINDINGS IN HFRS PATIENTS IN BIOPSY AND AUTOPSY SPECIMENS ­ EXPERIENCE FROM BALKAN PATOHISTOLOSKI NALAZ U BUBREGU KOD PACIJENATA SA BELGRADE/DOBRAVA HANTAVIRUSNOM INFEKCIJOM ­ ISKUSTVA SA BALKANA

Summary - Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome (HFRS), an acute viral nephropathy is widespread across the Eurasian's landmass. In Balkan, HFRS exists in mild and severe form, and disease can be caused by Hantaan, Puumala, Puumala like, Seoul and Belgrade/Dobrava viruses with mortality ranged from less than 1% to 16.3% or 6.6% when investigated all hantavirus serotypes infection together. We analyzed 25 renal biopsies and 4 cases from autopsy material of patients which were serologically approved as Belgrade/Dobrava virus infection. Markedly, found pathohistological lesions on blood vessels were different forms of vasculitis. Morphological changes in internal and medial layers of small arteries were more frequently found than elements of an early thrombosis or even the hypertrophy and hyperplasia of endothelial cells (endothelitis). Key words: Hantaan virus, hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, pathohistological findings, renal biopsy Kratak sadrzaj - Hemoragijska groznica sa renalnim sindromom (HGRS), kao akutna virusna nefropatija je siroko rasprostranjena na evroazijskoj teritoriji. Na Balkanu HGRS se javlja kao blaga i teska klinicka forma obolenja i mogu je uzrokovati Hantaan, Puumala, Puumala like i Belgrade/Dobrava virusi sa stopom mortaliteta manjom od 1% do 16.3% ili 6.6% kada se ispituju svi serotipovi hantanvirusnih infekcija zajedno. Histoloski je analizirano 25 biopsija bubrega i u 4 slucaja materijal sa autopsije, koji su bili seroloski verifikovani kao infekcija izazvana Belgrade/Dobrava virusom. Najizrazitije patohistoloske lezije su naene na krvnim sudovima u vidu razlicitih formi vaskulitisa. Morfoloske promene u intimi i mediji malih arterija su bile cesi nalaz u odnosu na elemente rane tromboze ili hipertrofiju i hiperplaziju endotelijalnih elija (endotelitis). Q GROZNICA U HUMANOJ I VETERINARNOJ PATOLOGIJI CRNE GORE Q FEVER IN HUMAN AND VETERINARY PATHOLOGY IN MONTENEGRO

Summary - Mediterranean area is rich with natural resources for development of transmits Arthropod Borne Diseases. Important place in this group of infectious diseases belong to Rickettsial Diseases, especialy for Q fever. In Montenegro extensive resarching abaut Q fever in human and veterinary pathology has not been made. Buth informations from medical publications and smol reschaerching, showed her s praesent, and potential meaning. During time 1996. ­ 2003. on Clinic for Infectious Disease and Biotechnical Institute in Podgorica, representation and essential characteristics of Q fever in human and veterinary pathology, where examined. In human pathology first case of Q fever has been ethiological diagnosticed 1996. Antil and of 2003., ten more patients has been detected. Examinations abaut dispersion of Q fever in animals, show frequency of 0,28% of global fond of sheeps in Republic. That makes objective that problem have much biger dimension. More immportant apsolvation of problem, need multidisciplinary program cooperation, advance of methodology of epidemiological, clinical and immunological examinations. Key words: Q fever, dispersion, characteristics Kratak sadrzaj - Podrucje Mediterana obiluje prirodnim resursima, znacajnim za egzistenciju transmisivnih krpeljskih zoonoza. U ovoj grupi infektivnih oboljenja, znacajno mjesto zauzimaju rikecioze, i posebno Q groznica. U Crnoj Gori nisu vrsena opseznija ispitivanja Q-groznice u humanoj i veterinarnoj patologiji, ali su podaci iz medicinske literature i ispitivanja manjeg obima kod ljudi i zivotinja, ukazivala na njeno prisustvo i potencijalni znacaj. U periodu od 1996. ­ 2003. god. na Klinici za infektivne bolesti i Biotehnickom Institutu u Podgorici, standardnim epidemioloskim, klinickim i imunoloskim metodama, ispitivana je zastupljenost i osnovne karakteristike Q-groznice u humanoj i veterinarnoj patologiji. Prvi slucaj etioloski dijagnostikovane Q-groznice u humanoj patologiji, verifikovan je 1996. god. Do kraja 2003. god., oboljenje je detektovano kod jos 10 pacijenata. Ispitivanja rasirenosti Q-groznice meu zivotinjama, pokazala su zastupljenost od 0,29% u ukupnom stocnom (ovcijem fondu) u Republici, uz opravdanu bojazan, da problem ima sire razmjere. Znacajnije apsolviranje problema, zahtijeva multidisciplinarnu programsku saradnju, usklaivanje i unapreivanje metodologije epidemioloskih, klinickih i imunoloskih istrazivanja. ZAMRZAVANJE OVNUJSKOG SJEMENA PRIMJENOM RAZLICITIH KONCENTRACIJA GLICEROLA I EKVILIBRACIJE FREEZING OF THE RAM SEMEN USING DIFFERENT GLYCEROL CONCENTRATIONS AND EQUILIBRATION

Ram semen, collected by electroejaculation, was diluted in two-step method. First step dilution was made at 35°C (non glycerolated extender) and second at 5°C with different glycerol concentration (1,2,3,4 in 6%). In study we optimized different equilibration time (0,5 to 4 hours). Semen was frozen in programmable biofreezer (cooling rate 20°C/min to -100°C). Computer assisted sperm analysis and acrosomal integrity of thawed samples were assessed after thawing 20 seconds at 40°C. Best resoults were observed at 2 and 3% glycerol concentration and 2-3 hours equilibration time. Key words: ram semen, freezing methods, glycerol concentration, equilibration Kratak sadrzaj ­ U preliminarna istrazivanja zamrzavanja ovnujskog sjemena,bili su ukljuceni mladi ovnovi, od kojih su ejakulati uzimani elektroejakulacijom. Nakon uzimanja sjeme je razreivano triszumanjcanim razreivacem. Prvo razreenje ejakulata bilo je na temperaturi +37ºC sa razreivacem bez glicerola (R I), kojem je nakon ohladjivanja na +5ºC dodavan razreivacu (R II) sa glicerolom u koncentraciji 1, 2, 3, 4 i 6%. Po dodavanju glicerola se istrazivala optimalna ekvilibracija (od 0,5 do 4 sata). Razreeni ejakulati su zamrzavani u programiranom zamrzivacu, s brzinom zamrzavanja 20ºC u minuti do -100ºC. Nakon odmrzavanja kvalitet doza duboko zamrznute sperme, odnosno progresivna pokretljivost, koncentracija i morfoloska analiza akrozoma ocjenjivana je kompjuterskim-analizatorom. Na osnovu dobivenih podataka najbolja progresivna pokretljivost utvrdjena je u dozama kada je u R-II upotrijebljena 2-3% koncentracija glicerola i kada je ekvilibracija bila 2-3 sata. Summary ­ Ichtiological field-work on river Sava, Brcko DC, has been done on summer and autumn in 2004, for an international project «Managing by fish resources on border rivers». Analised representative samples of fish populations had been achieved by standard fishing out with electrical agregates (power 2 and 10 KW) and by different fishing nets. During the research, material has been transfered (before that has been conserved in 4% formaldechid) into Center for ichtilogy and fishing of Science faculty Sarajevo laboratory for the further analising. In this work we analised morphometric and meristic characters in 36 samples of fish roach Rutilus rutilus (Linnaeus, 1758). Dates that we got about morphometric and meristic characteristics of Rutilus rutilus fish from river Sava, are the same as dates known from the literature. Basic biositematical formula of analised species looks like this: D III; 9-11, A III; 9-11, P I; 13-14, V II; 7-8 i l.l. 39-44. According to dates that we got during the analysis of morphologic-taxonomic characteristics we can conclude that it is about tipical subspecies Rutilus rutilus carpathorossicus Vladykov, 1930. Key words: Rutilus rutilus (Linnaeus, 1758), characteristics, river Sava Kratak sadrzaj ­ Terenska ihtioloska istrazivanja rijeke Save na podrucju Brcko Distrikta izvrsena su u ljetnom i jesenjem periodu 2004. godine, za potrebe meunarodnog projekta pod nazivom "Gospodarenje slatkovodnim ribljim resursima na pogranicnim rijekama". Analizirani reprezentativni uzorci ribljih populacija ostvareni su standardnim izlovom pomou elektroagregata (jacine 2 i 10 KW) i mrezama popunicama razlicitih promjera okaca. Tokom istrazivanja, materijal je prenesen u laboratoriju (prethodno fiksiran u 4% formaldehidu) Centra za ihtiologiju i ribarstvo Prirodno-matematickog fakulteta Sarajevo na dalju obradu. U ovom radu izvrsena je analiza morfometrijskih i meristickih karaktera kod 36 jedinki vrste ribe crvenookice Rutilus rutilus (Linnaeus, 1758). Dobiveni podaci o morfometrijskim i meristickim karakteristikama vrste Rutilus rutilus iz rijeke Save uklapaju se u podatke poznate iz literature. Summary ­ Characteristics of pharynx teeth, their shape, number and arrangement on the pharynx bone and morphological characteristics of the pharynx bone itself were studied at 683 individuals of endemic species of Aulopyge hügeli Heckel, 1841 from eight populations, that is, localities that this species populate. Interpopulation variation of number of pharynx teeth was not noticed; thus 4 pharynx teeth on both, the left and right of pharynx bone, arranged in one row were found at all analyzed individuals of Dalmatian Barbelgudgeon. Pharynx teeth are generally of chisel-shape but the results of our researches show smaller or larger morphological differences between them. Especially the first pharynx tooth is morphologically different because of its massiveness and conical shape. Other three pharynx teeth are more or less of chisel shape, canted and bent towards the inner side of pharynx bone. Morphology of pharynx teeth is the same at all Dalmatian Barbelgudgeon so the interpopulation variation was not noticed in this character too. Morphology of pharynx bone (os pharyngea inferiora) of the Dalmatian Barbelgudgeon was studied too. Pharynx bone is of sickle shape with significantly widened and board-like middle part that holds pharynx tooth on the ledge that is rounded towards the outer side. The interpopulation differences were also not noticed in the morphology of pharynx bone at Dalmatian Barbelgudgeon. The results that were obtained by studying the characteristics of the pharynx teeth of Dalmatian Barbelgudgeon and, what is more particularly important, number and arrangement of pharynx teeth showed obvious stability of this diagnostic character. Key words: Aulopyge hügeli, pharynx teeth Kratak sadrzaj - Osobenosti zdrijelnih zuba, njihov oblik, broj i raspored na zdrijelnoj kosti, te moroloske osobenosti same zdrijelne kosti, istrazene su kod 683 jedinke endemicne vrste Aulopyge hügeli H e c k e l, 1841 iz osam populacija, tj. lokaliteta koje naseljava ova vrsta. Nije konstatovano interpopulacijsko variranje broja zdrijelnih zuba, tako da je kod svih analiziranih jedinki ostrulja evidentiran konstatan broj, po 4 zdrijelna zuba na lijevoj i desnoj zdrijelnoj kosti rasporeana u jednom redu. Zdrijelni zubi su openito dlijetastog oblika, ali rezultati nasih istrazivanja pokazuju manje ili vee morfoloske razlike izmeu njih. Posebno se morfoloski razlikuje masivnosu i kupastim oblikom prvi zdrijelni zub. Ostala tri zdrijelna zuba su manje ili vise dlijetasti, koso narezani i povijeni prema unutrasnjoj strani zdrijelne kosti. Kod svih ostrulja morfologija zdrijelnih zuba je ista, tako da ni u ovom karakteru nije konstatovano interpopulacijsko variranje. Istrazena je i morfologija zdrijelne kosti (oss pharyngea inferiora) ostrulja.. Zdrijelna kost je srpolikog oblika, sa znatnije prosirenim i plocastim sredisnjim dijelom, koji na grebenu zaobljenom prema vanjskoj strani nosi zdrijelne zube. Takoe, nisu uocene interpopulacijske razlike u morfologiji zdrijelne kosti ostrulja. Rezultati dobiveni proucavanjem osobenosti zdrijelnih zuba ostrulja, a sto je posebno vazno broja i rasporeda zdrijelnih zuba, pokazali su izrazitu stabilnost ovog dijagnostickog karaktera. POPULACIJE RIBA RIJEKE GVOZANKE FISH POPULATIONS OF GVOZANKA RIVER

Summary - One year investigation have been carried out in order to determine qualitative and quantitative composition of ichtyopopulations in the lower stream of the river Gvozanka for two seasons: spring-summer and autumn-winter. Fishing was carried out using standard fishing tools, and further investigations of fixed material were carried out in the laboratory of the Center of Ichtyology and Fishery at the Faculty of Science of the University of Sarajevo. During ichtyological investigations in this basin 3 fish species from three families were found. The family Salmonidae is represented with autohtonous brown trout ­ Salmo trutta m. fario (Linnaeus, 1758) and family Thymallidae with grayling ­ Thymallus thymallus (Linnaeus, 1758). From the family Cobitidae, spined loach ­ Cobitis taenia (Linnaeus, 1758) was registered. Total catch during the investigations was 101 specimens or 5.545,51g of ichtyomass. In springsummer period, 57 specimens were catched. The ichtyomass of this sample was 3.441,75g. In the season autumn-winter, 44 specimens were catched. Ichtyomass of this sample was 2.133,76g. The results of investigations of abundance of specimens of certain species in total sample have shown that the most abundant species is brown trout with 53 specimens, followed by spined loach with 43 recorded specimens. The grayling had the lowest abundance with only 5 specimens. The highest recorded ichtyomass was of brown trout with 4.178,80g or 75,35% and the lowest value had grayling with 599,00g or 10,80% of total ichtyomass. The following basic body parameters were analysed: total body lenght, body lenght to the basis of tail fin and body mass. Recorded data of basic body measures of identified species generally fit the findings published elsewhere in literature. Age and sexual structure of the brown trout and grayling specimens in this basin were analysed. These analyses have included 53 specimens of brown trout and specimens of grayling. Analysed specimens of brown trout belonged to the age classes 0+, 1+, 2+, 3+, i 4+. The greatest abundance were registered in age class 1+ (22 specimens or 41,50%) and 2+ (18 specimens or 33,40%). The lowest abundance was present in age class 0+ (only two specimens or 3,80%). The results of the analyses have shown rather greater number of male (67,90%) than female specimens (32,10%) of brown trout in ratio 36:17. Investigated specimens of grayling had belonged to the age classes 1+ i 2+. The greatest abundance was registered in age class 2+ (for specimens or 80,00%) and the lowest abudance in age class 1+ (one specimen or 20,00%). Sexual distribution of grayling is characterised by the highest presence of males (80,00%) in comparison to females (20,00%) in ratio 4:1. Izlovljavanje riba je obavljeno standardnim ribolovnim alatom, a dalja ispitivanja fiksiranog materijala su obavljena u laboratoriju Centra za ihtiologiju i ribarstvo Prirodno-matematickog fakulteta u Sarajevu. Thymallidae lipljenom - Thymallus thymallus (Linnaeus, 1758). Iz porodice Cottidae registrovan je pes ­ Cottus gobio Linnaeus, 1758. Prilikom nasih istrazivanja ostvaren je ukupni ulov od 101 jedinke. Ihtiomasa ovog ulova iznosila je 5.545,51 g. U proljetno-ljetnom ulovu ulovljeno je 57 jedinki. Ihtiomasa ovog ulova iznosila je 3.411,75 g. U sezoni jesen-zima izlovljeno je 44 jedinke. Ihtiomasa ovog ulova bila je 2.133,76 g. Najbrojnija vrsta u uzorku je potocna pastrmka sa 53 jedinke. Odmah iza nje po brojnosti su jedinke pesa (evidentirane 43 jedinke). Najmanju brojnost u uzorku imale su jedinke lipljena (konstatovano pet primjeraka). Najveu vrijednost ihtiomase imale su jedinke potocne pastrmke u iznosu od 4.178,80 g ili 75,35% ukupne ihtiomase. Najmanju vrijednost ihtiomase imale su jedinke lipljena u iznosu od 599,00 g ili 10,80% ukupne ihtiomase. Od osnovnih tjelesnih mjera istrazivanih vrsta riba analizirane su; totalna duzina tijela, duzina tijela bez repnog peraja i masa tijela. Dobiveni podaci o osnovnim tjelesnim mjerama konstatovanih vrsta riba na ovom istrazivanom podrucju uglavnom se uklapaju u podatke poznate izliterature. Od registrovanih vrsta riba u ovom istrazivanom podrucju analizirana je dobna i spolna struktura kod dvije vrste: potocna pastrmka i lipljen. Ukupno je analizirano 53 jedinke potocne pastrmke i pet jedinki lipljena. Analizirane jedinke potocne pastrmke pripadale su uzrasnim klasama 0+, 1+, 2+, 3+, i 4+. Najvea brojnost zabiljezena je u uzrasnim klasama 1+ (22 jedinke ili 41,50%) i 2+ (18 jedinki ili 33,40%).. Najmanju brojnost imale su jedinke u uzranoj klasi 0+ (evidentirane dvije jedinke ili 3,80%). Analiza odnosa spolova ispitivanih jedinki potocne pastrmke je pokazala znatno vei broj muzjaka u odnosu na zenke u omjeru 36:17 ili 67,90%:32,10%. Ispitivane jedinke lipljena pripadale su uzrasnim klasama 1+ i 2+. Najvea brojnost zabiljezena je uuzrasnoj klasi 2+ (cetiri jedinke ili 80,00%), a najmanja u uzrasnoj klasi 1+ (jedna jedinka ili 20,00%). Summary ­ Field research of the upper Krivaja was conducted in October 2004 in order to determine the actual situation of ichthyo-population in the studied running waters. Ichthyo-material was collected, by the representative sampling, from four localities of the upper Krivaja, two localities of its merging rivers ­ Biostice and Stupcanice and one locality of smaller rivers ­ Ocevice, Orlje and Velike Maoce. Ichthyofauna of Biostica is represented with seven species from four families. Salmonidae are represented with brown trout - Salmo trutta m. fario (L.), Thymallidae with grayling - Thymallus thymallus (L.), Cyprinidae with Barbus meridionalis petenyi Heckel, sneep - Chondostoma nasus (L.), chub Leuciscus cephalus (L.) and Phoxinus phoxinus L., and Cottidae bullhead - Cottus gobio L. Out of total number of caught various types of fish, the largest number of the individuals was recorded in the population of brown trout that is represented with 40.86% in the ichthyo-populations of Biostica. Ichthyopopulations of Stupcanica conists of four species from three families. Brown trout - Salmo trutta m. fario (L.) is representative of the family Salmonidae, bullhead - Cottus gobio L. Cottidae, and Barbus meridionalis petenyi Heckel and Alburnoides bipunctatus (Bloch) Cyprinide. Populations of brown trout and Alburnoides bipunctatus (Bloch) Cyprinide with 41.56% and 40.26% shares respectively are the most represented in ichthyofauna of Stupcanica. Six species from four families, Salmonidae, Thymallidae, Cyprinidae and Cottidae represent ichthyofauna of the upper Krivaja. Cyprinids are the most represented with three species / Barbus meridionalis petenyi Heckel, Alburnoides bipunctatus (Bloch) and Chondrostoma nasus (L.)/, while only one representative of the other three families respectively was recorded that is, brown trout - Salmo trutta m. fario (L.), sneep - Thymallus thymallus (L.) and bullhead - Cottus gobio L. The largest number of caught fish was in the population of Alburnoides bipunctatus (Bloch) Cyprinide which is 62.76% in the relative indicators and the smallest number of fish was caught in the population of sneep ­ 1.53%. Five species from four families represent ichthyofauna of river Ocevica. Cyprinidae are represented by two representatives, chub - Leuciscus cephalus (L.) and Alburnoides bipunctatus (Bloch). Brown trout - Salmo trutta m. fario (L.) is representative of the family Salmonidae, sneep is representative of - Thymallus thymallus (L.) Thymallidae and bullhead is from - Coittus gobio L. Cottidae family. Brown trout is the population with the largest number of the caught individuals in Ocevica: 25 or 65,79%. Ichthyofauna of river Orlje consists of two species: brown trout - Salmo trutta m. fario (L.) (family Salmonidae) and bullhead - Cottus gobio L. (Cottidae). Brown trout is dominant species in number with 96.55% share. River Velika Maoca is populated with four fish species. From family Salmonidae evidentirana, brown trout - Salmo trutta m. fario (L.) was recorded, Cyprinidae chub - Leuciscus cephalus (L.), Barbus meridionalis petenyi Heckel and Alburnoides bipunctatus (Bloch). The population of Alburnoides bipunctatus is the most represented species by number, with 64,18%.

Key words: ichthyopopulation, biodiversity, river Krivaja Kratak sadrzaj - Terenski dio istrazivanja vodotoka gornjeg toka Krivaje obavljen je u oktobru mjesecu 2004. godine, u cilju utvrdjivanja aktuelnog stanja ihtiopopulacija u istrazivanim tekuicama. Reprezentativnim uzorkovanjem prikupljen je ihtiomaterijal sa cetiri lokaliteta goirnjeg toka Krivaje, dva lokaliteta njenih sastavnica- Biostice i Stupcanice i sa jednog lokaliteta manjih tokova-Ocevice, Orlje i Velike Maoce. Ihtiofauna Biostice predstavljena je sa sedam vrsta iz cetiri porodice. Salmonidae su zastupljene potocnom pastrmkom-Salmo trutta m. fario (L.), Thymallidae lipljenom-Thymallus thymallus (L.), Cyprinidae sapacom-Barbus meridionalis petenyi Heckel, skobaljem-Chondostoma nasus (L.), klenomLeuciscus cephalus (L.) i gagicom-Phoxinus phoxinus L., te Cottidae pesom-Cottus gobio L. Od ukupno izlovljenih primjeraka raznih vrsta riba, najvei broj jedinki evidentiran je u populaciji potocne pastrmke, koja je u ihtiopopulacijama Biostice zastupljena sa 40,86% brojcanog ucesa. Ihtiopopulacije Stupcanice cine cetiri vrste iz tri porodice. Potocna pastrmka-Salmo trutta m. fario (L.) je predstavnik porodice Salmonidae, pes-Cottus gobio L. Cottidae, a sapaca-Barbus meridionalis petenyi Heckel i pliska-Alburnoides bipunctatus (Bloch) Cyprinide. Populacije potocne pastrmke i pliske sa 41,56% i 40,26% brojcanog ucesa su najzastupljenije u ihtiofauni Stupcanice. Sest vrsta iz cetiri porodice, Salmonidae, Thymallidae, Cyprinidae i Cottidae predstavljaju faunu riba gornjeg toka rijeke Krivaje. Ciprinide su najbrojnije sa tri vrste / sapaca-Barbus meridionalis petenyi Heckel, pliska-Alburnoides bipunctatus (Bloch) i skobalj-Chondrostoma nasus (L.), a ostale tri porodice evidentirane su sa po jednim predstavnikom tj. potocnom pastrmkom-Salmo trutta m. fario (L.), lipljenomThymallus thymallus (L.) i pesom-Cottus gobio L.Najvea brojnost izlovljenih primjeraka konstatirana je u populaciji pliske, sto u relativnim pokazateljima iznosi 62,76%, a najmanja u populaciji lipljena-1,53%. Pet vrsta iz cetiri porodice predstavlja ihtiofaunu rijeke Ocevice. Cyprinidae su zastupljene sa dva predstavnika, klenom-Leuciscus cephalus (L.) i pliskom-Alburnoides bipunctatus (Bloch). Potocna pastrmka-Salmo trutta m. fario (L.) je predstavnik porodice Salmonidae, lipljen-Thymallus thymallus (L.) Thymallidae, a pes-Coittus gobio L. Cottidae. Najveu brojnost u Ocevici ima populacija potocne pastrmke sa 25 izlovljenih jedinki ili 65,79%. Faunu riba rijeke Orlje cine dvije vrste, potocna pastrmka-Salmo trutta m. fario (L.) (porodica Salmonidae) i pes-Cottus gobio L. (Cottidae). Potocna pastrmka je brojcano dominantna vrsta sa 96,55% brojcanog ucesa. Rijeku Velika Maoca naseljavaju cetiri riblje vrste. HEMIJSKI SASTAV KUKURUZA ZA ISHRANU STOKE KORISTENOG U BOSNI I HERCEGOVINI U PERIODU 1997-2005. CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF CORN GRAIN USED FOR LIVESTOCK FEEDING IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA DURING PERIOD 1997 ­ 2005.

Crnki ., Alibegovi-Zeci Fahira, Gagi A., Kavazovi Aida, Piplica Slavica * Summary ­ This paper sets out review of basic chemical composition of corn grain used in feed industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina during period 1997-2005. Laboratory for feed analyses of Veterinary faculty Sarajevo have analyzed 112 samples of corn grain provided within regular feed control program from feed factories, as well as from farms and inspection services. Average moisture content of corn grain samples was 12,87% with very wide range, from 10,6% to 18,22%. With the respect of current reggulations 20% of exemined samples did not fulfil criteria about maximal 14% of moisture allowed. Row protein content was 7,79% in average (from 5,88% to 9,91%). Average row fat, fiber and ash content were 3,75%, 2,63% and 1,17% respectively. Calculated metabolizable energy value in terms of MEn ranged from 12,69 do 14,16 with average of 13,69 MJ/kg of corn grain. Content of calcium and phosphorus in analized samples were 0,006% and 0,248% respectively. Very strong relationship beetween moisture level and MEn (r=-0,98; n=45) indicates possibility of easy assessment of energy value of corn grain based only on moisture level, but it should be checked on greater number of samples. Key words: corn grain, chemical composition, livestock feed Kratak sadrzaj - U radu je dat prikaz osnovnog hemijskog sastava kukuruznog zrna koristenog u industrijskoj proizvodnji stocne hrane u Bosni i Hercegovini u periodu od 1997. do 2005. godine. Uzorci su pristizali iz tvornica i mjesaona stocne hrane na redovnu kontrolu, zatim sa farmi, te putem inspekcijskih sluzbi. Analize su vrsene u Laboratoriji za analize stocne hrane Veterinarskog fakulteta u Sarajevu, a obuhvatile su ukupno 112 uzoraka. Prosjecan sadrzaj vlage u ispitanim uzorcima kukuruza iznosio je 12,87%, ali je raspon variranja bio vrlo sirok i kretao se od 10,6% do cak 18,22%. U odnosu na vazee propise o kvalitetu stocne hrane, 20% uzoraka koji su analizirani na sadrzaj vlage nije zadovoljavalo propisani kriterij od maksimalno dozvoljenih 14%. Sadrzaj sirovog proteina iznosio je u prosjeku 7,79% (5,88% do 9,91%). Prosjecni sadrzaj sirove masti bio je 3,75%, vlakana 2,63%, i pepela 1,17%. Energetska vrijednost, iskazana kao MEn za perad, kretala se od 12,69 do 14,16 sa prosjekom od 13,69 MJ/kg kukuruza. Sadrzaj kalcija i fosfora u analiziranim uzorcima iznosio je 0,006%, odnosno 0,248%. Nalaz vrlo jake korelativne veze izmeu sadrzaja vlage i MEn (r=-0,98; n=45) ukazuje na potencijalnu mogunost brze procjene energetske vrijednosti kukuruznog zrna na bazi sadrzaja vlage sto je potrebno provjeriti na veem broju uzoraka. NORMATIVNI KRITERIJI PRAVILNE ISHRANE KONJA REQUIREMENTS AND CRITERIONS IN HORSE NUTRITION

Summary - Research in the field of horse nutrition, in contrast to the other farm animal species, reached little advancement until the late fifties of previous century. Since that time, popularity of horse keeping increased and significant amount of equine nutrition research was conducted with great advancement in this area. Today is possible to modify horse diet much more precisely than before with minimal risk of consequences following nutrient imbalances. In balancing rations for horses general feeding practice must be followed by exact calculation of nutrient requirements for each class of horse. Only well balanced diet can provide a sufficient intake of nutrients for maintenance requirements, growth, reproduction and work. Balancing diet should be taken individually concerning body weight, physiological state, expected daily feed consumption and intensity of exercise for each horse, as well as climatic conditions and other factors that can affect nutrient requirements. Because unique digestive tract functions and horse feeding behaviour it is important to pay attention on selection of feeds, feeding regimen and water requirements. Balancing diet first requires appropriate feed composition tables and nutrient requirements tables for each horse class. Table data enable us to prepare daily ration to satisfy horse needs in all nutrients and energy. However, well balanced diet also must have positive effects on digestive functions, fertility, as well as health and animal welfare in general. This is reason why the other factors need to considered in diet formulation including forage to concentrate ratio, amounts and sequence of feeding individual feeds, physical form of feeds, number and amount of daily meals, timing of feeding etc. All changes in diet should be conducted gradually over a seven to 10 day period. Diet is to be economic particularly in keeping group of horses or in seasonal variations of feed price. Key words: horse, nutrient requirements, feeds, nutrition Kratak sadrzaj - Istrazivanja na polju ishrane konja, za razliku od drugih farmskih zivotinja, bila su vrlo skromna sve do kasnih 50-tih godina proslog vijeka. Nagli rast popularnosti drzanja konja doveo je i do veeg interesa za istrazivanjima pa je u periodu koji slijedi postignut znacajan napredak na tom polju. Zahvaljujui novim naucnim saznanjima, danas su mogue preciznije modifikacije u obroku konja i minimiziranje rizika od posljedica debalansa hranjivih materija. Uz opsta nacela ishrane, pri sastavljanju obroka neohodno je ispostovati normative za pojedine kategorije. Samo izbalansirani obroci mogu osigurati hranjive i biostimulativne materije dovoljne za podmirivanje potreba za odrzavanje zivota, rast, reprodukciju i rad. Pri normiranju obroka treba pojedinacno za svakog konja uzeti u obzir tjelesnu masu, fiziolosko stanje, mogunost konzumacije hrane, ocekivanu vrsta i intezitet rada, ambijentalne uslove i druge faktore koji mogu uticati na potrebe. Zbog specificnosti grae probavnog trakta i hranidbenih navika konja posebno treba paziti na izbor hraniva, tehniku same ishrane i podmirivanje potreba u vodi. Za sastavljanje izbalansiranog obroka vazno je raspolagati odgovarajuim tablicama hranjive vrijednosti hraniva, kao i normativima za pojedine kategorije konja. Na bazi toga valja pripremiti obrok koji e, uz odgovarajui kvantum konzumacije, osigurati podmirenje potreba u svim hranjivim materijama. Embryo transfer methods are being used in sheep with the aim of preserving the genome of autochthonous breeds as well biological diversity. The improved technology of embryo production and embryo transfer are used in a breed preservation program (gene bank) of autochthonous animals and preservation of biological diversity. This work is performed according to bilateral project between Republik of Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the future, we would like to introduce in to the embryo transfer programme ovum pick-up techniques. These methods were first used in Slovenija in sheep at the end of 1996. Key words: domestic animals, MOET, embryos, ovum pick-up, in-vitro production Kratak sadrzaj - Prenos embriona je jedna od metoda, koja nudi brzi genetski napredak koji se danas koristi prakticno kod svih vrsta domaih zivotinja. Metode embriotransfera upotrebljavamo kod malih prezivara, kada pokusavamo sacuvati gene nasih autohtonih pasmina ovaca. Stvaranje banke embriona pomaze ocuvanju autohtonih ugrozenih pasmina kao i kod ocuvanja bioloske raznolikosti. Pomenuti rad protice uporedo sa izvoenjem bilateralnog projekta izmeu Republike Slovenije i Bosne i Hercegovine. U budunosti zelimo u programe embriotransfera uvesti tehnike in vitro proizvodnje embriona iz jajnih elija, dobijenih punkcijom jajnika kod zivih zivotinja. Te tehnike smo u Sloveniji poceli uvoditi kod ovaca od kraja 1996. godine. ZNACAJ RENTGENSKE DIJAGNOSTIKE DISPLAZIJE KUKOVA U PASA IMPORTANCE OF RENTGENOLOGY DIAGNOSTIC OF HIPS DISPLASY AT DOGS

Summary - Dysplasia of hips is hereditary disease, which is common at middle and large dog breeds, especially at German Shepard's, Rottweillers, Labrador retrievers and Sarplaninac. Rentgenography examination of hips is still unique and objective method for detection of this disease at live dogs. Skiagram analysis of hips is performing in VD position at dogs that are old at least one year. Scientific Commission of Cynology Federation (FCI) has established, in 1978, for the first time, classification criteria scheme for hip displacement in dogs, with five groups (from A to E). Today, many of advanced analysis methods for healthy and diseased hips are in use, by computer tomography (CT), magnetic resonance (MR) and ultrasonography. Kratak sadrzaj ­ Displazija kuka je nasljedno oboljenje koje se najcese zapaza u srednje velikih i velikih pasmina pasa i to osobito u njemackih ovcara, rotvajlera, labrador retrivera i sarplaninaca. Rentgenoloska pretraga je za sada jedina, objektivna metoda prikladna za utvrivanje oboljenja u zivih pasa. Analize rentgenograma kukova obavljaju se u VD polozaju najmanje s jednom godinom starosti zivotinje. Znanstvena komisija Meunarodne kinoloske federacije (FCI) je 1978. godine prvi puta nacinila shemu klasifikacije kriterija u procjeni displazije kuka u psa i svrstala ju je u pet skupina (od A do E). Danas se primjenjuju suvremene metode analize zdravih i oboljelih kukova primjenom kompjutorizirane tomografije (CT), magnetske rezonancije (MR) i ultrasonografije. Summary - Expansions of fungal infections during past few decades were the reasons for research of effective antibiotics used for therapy and control of these infections. For resolving of this problem, many pharmaceutical companies have produced a lot of new therapeutic products. In this paper, we presented the most common antifungal agents used in the praxis. Except effects of these agents against fungi, we also presented the side effects. Key words: fungi, medicaments, susceptibility Kratak sadrzaj - Visedecenijska ekspanzija fungalnih infekcija, nametnula je potrebu za iznalazenjem, odgovorajuih i efikasnih terapeutika koji bi pomogli u terapiji i kontroli ovih infekcija. Summary - Nonpathogenic and pathogenic fungi, their spores, other fragments and metabolite products, are the most common cause of mycoallergosis such are: allergic rhinitis, asthma, chronic bronchitis, allergic alveolitis and toxic syndrome caused by dust. They are present everywhere, especially on the places with high number of persons. Since many species of fungi are exhibit in humidity and dry atmosphere, exposure to there spore and metabolite products is possible during all seasons. Since that it is well understand the reason for spreading of mycoallergosis in the world, including farm animals and pets. Key words: fungi, allergy, asthma, surrounding Kratak sadrzaj - Nepatogeni i patogeni fungi, njihove spore, dijelovi struktura i metaboliti su meu najcesim izazivacima mikoalergoza kao sto su: alergijski rinitis, astma, hronicni bronhitis, alergijski alveolitis i toksicni sindrom uzrokovan prasinom. Prisutni su u velikom broj svuda oko nas, narocito na mjestima gdje boravi vei broj jedinki. S obzirom da brojne vrste funga uzrocnika alergija i astme zive, kako u vlaznim tako i suhim klimatima, eksponiranost njihovim sporama i metabolitima je u manjoj ili veoj mjeri kontinuirana tokom citave godine, odnosno tokom svih godisnjih doba. UTICAJ MYCOPLASMA SPP NA (RE)PRODUKTIVNA SVOJSTVA DOMAIH ZIVOTINJA INFLUENCE OF MYCOPLASMA SPP. TO THE (RE)PRODUCTIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS

Pasi S., Rifatbegovi M., Maksimovi Zinka 1 Summary - Mycoplasmas are specific microorganisms widely distributed in the nature. They are the smallest self-replicate microorganisms. Usually they are symbiotic, rear strictly pathogenic, and usually cause chronicle disease. They are parasites of mammals, reptiles, fish, arthropods and plants. At the humans and animals, they are parasitic of respiratory, urinary, genital and digestive tract, eye, mammary gland and joint mucosa. Pathogenic mechanism is conducted with adhesion and/or penetration in the cells, production of different enzymes and products of metabolism which cause damage of host cells. The specific genotype of mycoplasmas has induced possibilities of mimicry and low efficiency of the host immune response, therapy and prophylaxis measures. Key words: mycoplasma, pathogenesis, domestic animals Kratak sadrzaj - Mikoplazme su specificni mikroorganizmi rasprostranjeni svugdje u prirodi. Ta specificnost proizilazi iz cinjenice da su to najmanji mikroorganizmi koji se samostalno mogu razmnozavati. Ove veoma uspjesne kreacije evolucije prilagodile su se na simbiotski nacin zivota. Rijetko ubijaju svog domaina i uglavnom izazivaju hronicne infekcije. Zbog toga ih nazivaju i "savrsenim parazitima". Paraziti su sisara, reptila, riba, artropoda i biljaka. U organizmu ljudi i zivotinja uglavnom se nalaze na mukoznim povrsinama respiratornog i urogenitalnog trakta, ociju, probavnog sistema (predzeluci), mlijecne zlijezde i zglobova. Patogeno djelovanje mikoplazmi zasniva se, izmeu ostalog, na njihovoj sposobnosti adhezije i penetracije na i u elije domaina, produkcijom razlicitih encima i metabolickih produkata koji morfoloski i fizioloski osteuju elije domaina. Zahvaljujui svom genetskom sklopu mikoplazme imaju vrlo razvijene sposobnosti mimikrije kojima (de)stimulisu odbrambe mehanizme domaina, a tretmane hemioterapeuticima u veini slucajeva cine nedjelotvornim. Zbog prethodno navedenog, jos uvijek, ne postoje ni imunoprofilakticka sredstva primjenljiva u svakodnevnoj praksi. Kljucne rijeci: mikoplazme, patogenitet, domae zivotinje

REZISTENCIJA FUNGA PREMA ANTIFUNGALNIM PREPARATIMA RESISTANCE OF FUNGI TO THE ANTIFUNGAL AGENTS

The main reason is spreading of mycoses in the world and using of different antifungal medicaments. In this paper we did explain the known mechanisms of antifungal efficiency, and mechanisms of resistance of some fungi to those medicaments. Key words: fungi, resistance, polien, azol Kratak sadrzaj - Rezistencija funga prema antifungalnim preparatima je sve izrazenija posljednjih decenija. Razlog tome je sve ucestalija pojava fungalnih infekcija, koju prati i sve masovnija upotreba antifungalnih, terapeutskih preparata. Kroz strucnu publikaciju, autori su opisali do sada poznate mehanizme djelovanja najcese koriscenih antifungalnih preparata, odnosno mehanizme razvijanja rezistencije pojedinih funga prema tim preparatima.
