Choosing your park

Worcestershire Caravan Sales and Salop Leisure have personally compiled this guide to help you choose the right Park for you and your family. All the Parks featured in this guide are spread over the 'Heart of England' across the counties of Worcestershire, Shropshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire. We also have further recommended parks in Powys, Oxfordshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Cheshire and Somerset. The individual Parks have been selected on their established trading with Worcestershire Caravan Sales and Salop Leisure and we know all the Park proprietors and Managers personally. Every Park would be recommended for your consideration. We appreciate the differing needs of individuals, couples and families. Some parks will cater solely for older people whose needs may not be compatible with the liveliness of younger families. Alternatively, others specialise in looking after families and provide facilities such as play areas, clubs, entertainment and amusements. You will find a variation of charges for the annual ground rent and rates; some parks may charge an additional siting and connection fee. These can be established by approaching the individual park. It is important to spend time choosing the right Park. Once you have decided the location and type of Park that you feel would suit you, the ideal way forward is to drive out and take a look. Parks are open from between eight and twelve months a year. We would be happy to arrange Individual Park visits on your behalf. You will note that some Parks have a further detailed brochure available; we can arrange for these to be forwarded to you. When you have decided on the Park and, in turn a suitable pitch, it is time to select your Holiday Home. We have an extensive stock of new and used models to suit every budget. Again, take your time in selecting your Holiday Home; there are many different sizes available, with options for one, two or three bedrooms, double-glazing, central heating, extra insulation etc... When you have decided on your Holiday Home, it is time to relax and enjoy your dream. Worcestershire Caravan Sales and Salop Leisure have a permanent display of new and used holiday homes to choose from, demonstrating the latest makes and models including the top manufacturers, Willerby, Atlas, B.K. Bluebird, ABI, Carnaby, Cosalt Pemberton and Swift. We are open throughout the year, 7 days a week. With this established history we can offer expert independent advice and guidance at every stage of your journey. Our service does not end with the selling of caravans. We offer full after sales support, caravan transport, help with siting, commissioning and connecting to water drainage and gas. We can also arrange funding for your Holiday Home enabling you to keep your savings/investments and continue earning interest from them. Your payments are fixed enabling you to budget for the future. If required we can even arrange the design and construction of a decking area to enhance your Holiday Home. CALDICOTT FARM CARAVAN PARK

Shrawley A family run park set in the midst of the Worcestershire countryside yet has the local facilities of Stourport with shops, inns and restaurants nearby. Would suit the couple that enjoys walking, and appreciates a more peaceful and relaxing break. Within walking distance you have the benefit of 2 local pubs and convenience stores. Located 1 ½ miles above the River Teme, the Park is not subjected to flooding and the quaint market town of Tenbury Wells is only 3 miles away. Originally developed over 40 years ago from an old apple orchard, the Park still retains a number of mature fruit trees and each plot is landscaped to a high standard to feature stone walls and patios. FIELD BARN PARK

WR10 3LY A family run Park set in the Vale of Evesham with outstanding views of Bredon Hill and close to the historic towns of Evesham (2.5 miles) and Pershore (3.5 miles). Field Barn Park has an elevated position near the River Avon offering the benefits of being by a river without any risk of flooding. The Park offers peaceful surroundings and a perfect base for countryside activities. There are two public houses within walking distance. 11 GREEN LAWNS CARAVAN PARK

Worcester Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcs. DY13 9PG A small friendly park. There are 30 caravans all privately owned and having the benefit of an 11 month licence, closing from 4th January - 4th February each year. 17 LINCOMB LOCK CARAVAN PARK

Titton, Stourport on Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9QR A riverside sun trap in the beautiful Severn Valley near to the lock upon the River Severn from which the Park takes its name. Holiday homes are positioned on a mixture of specially landscaped terraces and gently inclining meadow, with all of them facing South Westerly across the valley. The Park is protected by a sandstone escarpment that provides shelter from the weather, making the Park a perfect sun trap ­ ideal for those who enjoy Mediterranean style sun tans. Fishing rights are held on the Severn giving opportunities to catch varieties such as Roach, Perch, Bream, Chub, Carp, and Barbel amongst others. The Park is a pleasant riverside stroll from the resort town of Stourport on Severn, a Georgian town that from 1770, grew up around the confluence of the rivers Severn and Stour with the Staffordshire & Worcestershire canal. This is predominately farming and market gardening area, close to the foot of the Cotswald Hills. The riverside towns of Stratford upon Avon and Evesham are ideal centres for shopping or a relaxing day out. The picturesque Cotswald villages of Broadway and Chipping Campden are within 8 miles. WR15 8TW This Park is located in the pretty village of St. Michaels off the A4112 just 3 miles from the attractive town of Tenbury Wells and within easy reach of Leominster and Ludlow. The Park has been newly developed in 2008 featuring all new services, new roadways, new parking bays, new street lights, new reception and extra wide pitches. We have been able to retain many of the original apple trees within the development, which gives a clue to its earlier use as a small orchard. Neighbouring the park is the `Old Beams' Inn and a Leisure Centre with swimming pool. The park is level and open plan and benefits from being on the main bus route to Birmingham. The facilities on the park include a shop, laundry, public telephones and to maintain tranquillity ­ no clubhouse.
