Special Considerations - The following items are considerations that were used when evaluating this product. *USR/CNR indicates investigation to the U.S. and Canadian (Bi-National) Standard for Safety of Information Technology Equipment, Including Electrical Business Equipment, CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60950-1-07, Secondary Edition, issued date March 27, 2007, and UL 60950-1, Secondary Edition, issued date March 27, 2007. The component was submitted and tested for a maximum manufacturer's recommended ambient (Tmra) of 45°C. The equipment is: For building, Class I (earthed), intended for use on a TN power system. Conditions of Acceptability - When installed in the end-product, consideration shall be given to the following: *1. This component has been judged on the basis of the required spacings in the Standard for Safety of Information Technology Equipment, Including Electrical Business Equipment, CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60950-1-07, Secondary Edition, issued date March 27, 2007, and UL 60950-1, Secondary Edition, issued date March 27, 2007, which would cover the component itself if submitted for Listing. The product was tested on a 20 A branch circuit. If used on a branch circuit greater than this, additional testing may be necessary. The secondary output circuits are SELV and are not hazardous energy levels except the +5V and +12V secondary output circuits exceed 240 VA at a potential of 2 V or more. For Model PSL-6701P. All secondary output circuits are SELV and are not hazardous energy levels except the +12 V secondary output circuits exceed 240 VA at a potential of 2 A or more. The terminals and connectors are suitable for factory wiring only. The power supply shall be properly bonded to the main protective earthing termination in the end product. A suitable Mechanical, Electrical and Fire enclosure shall be provided. Magnetic devices transformers T3 employ a Class B insulation system. The maximum working voltage present is 480 Vpk, 342 Vrms from primary to earth. The electric strength tests in the end-product shall be based on this value. The equipment has been evaluated for use in a Pollution Degree 2 environment. When the unit is provided with an AC cable wire, the strain relief bushing of the AC cable wire should be investigated in the end-product.
